Refund & Return Policy

We aim to provide high-quality mountaineering, climbing and safety equipment to our customers. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, returns or replacements can be processed.

Please read the policy carefully before placing an order.


Eligibility for Return

Products purchased from SK Traders are eligible for return only under the following conditions:

  1. The product delivered is damaged, defective or incorrect.
  2. The item received is not the same as ordered.
  3. The return request is raised within 3 days of delivery.

Products must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags, packaging and accessories intact.

Equipment that shows any sign of usage will not be accepted for return due to safety concerns.


Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund

For safety and handling reasons, returns and refunds are not applicable on:

  • Used or tested climbing gear
  • Ropes, harnesses and PPE-grade equipment once unsealed
  • Custom-made or special order products
  • Items damaged due to misuse, improper handling or external factors
  • Clearance, discounted or final sale items

Such products are highly sensitive safety equipment and cannot be resold once opened or used.


Replacement Policy

If an item is found to be damaged or defective on delivery, you may request a replacement instead of refund.
Replacements are subject to product availability. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a refund.

You must provide unboxing video/photo proof for verification.


Refund Process

Once your return request is approved and the product is received back in our facility, the item will undergo quality inspection. After approval:

  • Refund will be processed to the original mode of payment or to bank account.
  • Processing time may take 7–10 working days post-inspection.
  • Shipping charges are not refundable unless the product received was damaged or incorrect.

How to Request a Return or Refund

To raise a return/refund request, contact us via email with the following:

  • Order ID
  • Registered mobile number
  • Reason for return/refund
  • Image/Video proof of the product and packaging

Return Shipping

If the return is accepted due to product fault or wrong delivery, SK Traders will arrange pickup or reimburse the return shipping cost.

If the return is due to customer preference (size, change of mind, etc.), return shipping must be borne by the customer, and approval is subject to policy guidelines.


Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped.
Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible, but you may request a return as per the eligibility conditions.
